Job Description
Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist-Float to perform blood collections, collect specimens, and provide administrative support to our clinical teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Collecting blood samples from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques
- Performing data entry and maintaining accurate records and logs
- Processing billing information and collecting payments when required
- Preparing all collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Providing superior customer service to all patients
- Traveling to additional sites when needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of previous experience as a phlebotomist is required
- Must have a Valid Driver's License and good driving record
- Must be at least 21 years' old
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
