Job Summary
We are seeking a Blood Collection Specialist to join our team at LabCorp. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients, preparing and processing specimens for testing, and providing exceptional customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect blood specimens from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
- Prepare and process specimens for testing and analysis.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
- Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
- Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency is required.
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
