**Job Responsibilities**
The successful candidate will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. This includes collecting specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other procedures. In addition, they will process billing information and collect payments when required. They will also provide superior customer service to all patients and maintain patient and specimen information logs.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency, and previous experience as a phlebotomist. You should also have proven track record in providing exceptional customer service, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently or in a team environment. Additionally, you will need to be comfortable working under minimal supervision, have reliable transportation, and pass a standardized color blindness test.
**Work Environment**
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. The selected candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team. They will be required to travel to additional sites when needed. A clean driving record is preferred, but not required. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:30am - 8:30am, with rotating Saturdays.
