About the Role:
The Laboratory Animal Medicine Expert will play a critical role in ensuring the health and welfare of laboratory animals at our facilities. This position requires a highly skilled and experienced veterinarian who can provide expert medical care, conduct training sessions, and contribute to the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) or Ethical Review Panel (ERP).
Responsibilities:
- Providing expert medical care to laboratory animals, including examination, treatment, and advice.
- Working closely with the site lead veterinarian to ensure compliance with animal care and welfare regulations.
- Developing and delivering training programs on animal health and welfare.
- Contributing to the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) or Ethical Review Panel (ERP).
