Clinical Laboratory Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Specimen Coordinator to join our team in Baltimore, MD. As a key member of our clinical laboratory team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of laboratory tests.
Responsibilities
- Process clinical specimens according to established procedures
- Ensure accurate identification and labeling of specimens
- Meet department productivity and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to resolve any issues or concerns
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- No relative experience required; 1-2 years preferred
- Previous medical or production experience is a plus
- Comfortable handling biological specimens
- Ability to accurately identify specimens
- Experience working in a team environment
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
- Ability to pass a standardized color blind test
