Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled phlebotomist to join our team. As a phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients in a clinical setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary techniques for specimen collection
- Collect specimens for various tests, including drug screens and paternity tests
- Enter patient information accurately and efficiently
- Process billing information and collect payments when necessary
- Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain patient and specimen logs
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients
- Perform administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; phlebotomy certification preferred
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist
- Proven track record of providing excellent customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
