As a Float Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in various locations. You will work independently, handling data entry, specimen processing, and billing information accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary techniques for blood collection
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and other analyses
- Process and prepare collected specimens for testing
- Maintain accurate records of patient and specimen information
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
