We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Specialist to work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and be the face of the company.
Responsibilities:
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other medical procedures
Enter patient information into our system accurately and efficiently
Process billing information and collect payments when necessary
Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain accurate logs of patient and specimen information
Provide outstanding customer service to patients and clients
Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Phlebotomy certification or training program completion from an accredited agency is necessary
Proven track record of providing excellent customer service
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
