We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Specialist to join our team in a Client Office setting. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform specimen collections with precision, and be the face of our company. You may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which offers a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
- Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
