Responsibilities:
- Process and analyze laboratory specimens according to established protocols
- Develop and implement quality control measures to prevent errors and improve laboratory performance
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to develop and implement new laboratory procedures
- Train and mentor new laboratory personnel
- Document and track laboratory results and statistics
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in Clinical Laboratory Science
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory services
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field is highly preferred
- Knowledge of laboratory information systems and computer applications is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with CLIA and state regulations
- Basic life support training
