We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team. This role involves performing blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, as well as data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques
- Perform data entry of patient information accurately and efficiently
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
- Assist with administrative and clerical duties as needed
Requirements
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred
- 2 years of phlebotomy experience (preferred)
- Experience working with pediatrics and geriatrics desirable
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
