Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary techniques for blood collections
- Collect specimens for various tests, including drug screens and paternity tests
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain accurate patient and specimen information logs
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; phlebotomy certification is preferred
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist is essential
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
