Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Collector to join our team in East Lansing, Michigan. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, and collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and other medical procedures.
You will also be responsible for processing billing information, collecting payments when required, preparing collected specimens for testing and analysis, maintaining patient and specimen information logs, and providing superior customer service to all patients.
Your work schedule will be Monday thru Thursday 7:30a.m. 12:30p.m., with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Requirements:
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency, and previous experience as a phlebotomist.
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service, strong communication skills, ability to work independently or in a team environment, comfortable working under minimal supervision, reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable.
