Job Description
The Phlebotomy Technician will work in a client office environment and provide exceptional customer service to all patients. The technician will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups and collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Responsibilities
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Administer and process billing information and collect payments when required.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent, phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist. You must also have proven track record in providing exceptional customer service and strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
