We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Specialist to join our team in the Special Chemistry department. The ideal candidate will have relevant certifications and a CA State MLT license, with a strong ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
- Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures
- Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
The successful candidate will have a high level of attention detail along with strong communication and organizational skills, and be able to pass a standardized color vision screen.
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent
- CA State MLT license is required
- ASCP or AMT certification is required
