- Collect blood specimens by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and other medical analyses
- Enter patient information accurately and efficiently into our database
- Process billing information and collect payments when necessary
- Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain accurate records of patient and specimen information
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
- Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; phlebotomy certification preferred
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist is essential
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
