- Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques
- Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing

- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding laboratory testing and results

Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) systems
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
