About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Labcorp. As a key member of our patient service center, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and collecting high-quality specimens for laboratory testing.
Responsibilities:
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
Requirements:
- Valid California issued Phlebotomy License or application filed with California Department of Health at time of hire
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist preferred
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
