About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Medical Professional to join our team as a Blood Collection Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for performing blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
As a Blood Collection Specialist, you will also collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other related procedures. Additionally, you will perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for various medical tests
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a High school diploma or equivalent, Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency, and able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
