Job Overview
Labcorp is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Specimen Collector to join our team. As a Phlebotomist in this role, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients across multiple locations in Illinois.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist is required
- At least 2 years phlebotomy experience with all age patients
- Must have a Valid Driver's License and good driving record
- Must be at least 21 years' old
