About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced phlebotomist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients in a variety of settings. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely specimen collection.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary collections on patients of all ages
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and other laboratory analyses
- Enter patient information into our database system
- Process billing information and collect payments when necessary
- Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain accurate records of patient and specimen information
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; phlebotomy certification preferred
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist or in a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record (if applicable)
