We are seeking a skilled Medical Specimen Collector to join our team. As a key member of our phlebotomy department, you will play a critical role in collecting blood samples from patients and preparing them for laboratory analysis.
- Perform venipuncture and capillary techniques to collect blood samples from patients of all ages.
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and other medical procedures.
- Enter patient data into our database accurately and efficiently.
- Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist is essential.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
