What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Blood Collection Specialist position at Labcorp?
You will be responsible for performing blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires a strong passion for helping others and a drive for delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently enter patient information into our system.
- Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
- Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
- Travel to additional sites as required.
Requirements:
- Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program from an accredited agency.
- At least 2 years of experience in phlebotomy with patients of all ages.
- Ability to work comfortably under minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
We offer a competitive salary: $50.00 per hour.
In addition to a salary, you will receive mileage reimbursement.
