Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our team in East Lansing, Michigan. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for performing blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collecting specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and other medical procedures.
You will also be responsible for processing billing information, collecting payments when required, preparing collected specimens for testing and analysis, maintaining patient and specimen information logs, and providing superior customer service to all patients.
Requirements:
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency, and previous experience as a phlebotomist.
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service, strong communication skills, ability to work independently or in a team environment, comfortable working under minimal supervision, reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable.
