The key responsibilities of a Patient Service Representative at our organization include:

Key Responsibilities
• Providing exceptional patient service and support
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Processing billing information and collecting payments when required
• Preparing collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
• Staying up-to-date with changing regulations and guidelines affecting patient care
• Participating in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency, and previous experience as a phlebotomist or similar role. Additionally, you should be able to pass a standardized color blindness test and have strong communication skills both written and verbal. Previous LabCorp experience and 1 years of phlebotomy experience are preferred but not required.
