About the Role:
At Labcorp, we are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team as a Float Phlebotomist. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy variety and have a passion for helping others. As a Float Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for providing essential blood collection services across various locations, ensuring accurate data entry and billing, and maintaining patient and specimen information logs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform venipunctures and capillary collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and other laboratory analyses
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Valid Driver's License and good driving record
- At least 21 years old
- 2 years of phlebotomy experience preferred
