Job Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other related procedures.
- Accurately and timely enter patient information into our database.
- Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
- Maintain accurate logs of patient and specimen information.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patients.
- Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
- Travel to additional sites when required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.
- Prior experience as a phlebotomist is essential.
- A valid driver's license and good driving record are mandatory.
- You must be at least 21 years old.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
- Develop strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to work independently or in a team environment.
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record (if applicable).
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
