Job Description
We are seeking a Phlebotomist for a job in Grasonville, Maryland. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, performing skilled specimen collections and being the face of the company.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping people and have a drive for service. They will work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office, performing tasks such as:
- Performing blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
- Processing billing information and collecting payments when required
- Preparing collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
- Traveling to additional sites when needed
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
