As a Float Phlebotomist, you will have the opportunity to quickly gain a vast amount of experience working with a variety of patients, team members, and clinics/locations. Job Description:

You will perform a variety of tasks, including blood collections, specimen collection, data entry, administrative duties, patient care, maintenance, customer service, and travel. You will work with a variety of patients, team members, and clinics/locations.

Responsibilities:

• Blood Collection

  You will collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques.

• Specimen Collection

  You will collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.

• Data Entry

  You will enter patient information into our system in an accurate and timely manner.

• Administrative Tasks

  You will process billing information and collect payments when required.

• Patient Care

  You will prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.

• Maintenance

  You will maintain patient and specimen information logs.

• Customer Service

  You will provide excellent customer service to all patients.

• Travel

  You will travel to additional sites when needed.

Requirements:

• Education

  You must have a High school diploma or equivalent.

• Phlebotomy Certification

  You must have phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist is required.

• Driver's License

  You must have a Valid Driver's License and good driving record.

• Age

  You must be at least 21 years old.

• Customer Service

  You must have a proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

• Communication Skills

  You must have strong communication skills; both written and verbal.

• Teamwork

  You must be able to work independently or in a team environment.

• Comfort Level

  You must be comfortable working under minimal supervision.

• Reliable Transportation

  You must have reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable.

• Overtime

  You must be flexible to work overtime as needed.

• Color Blindness Test

  You must be able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
