About the Job
As a Float Phlebotomist, you'll work Monday through Friday with scheduled hours varying between 6:00am-6:00pm and rotating Saturdays. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain a vast amount of experience working with diverse patients, team members, and locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect blood samples using venipuncture and capillary techniques
- Enter patient data accurately and efficiently
- Process billing information and collect payments when necessary
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Complete administrative tasks as needed
- Travel to additional sites when required
To succeed in this role, you'll need 1 year of phlebotomy experience, particularly with pediatric cases. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are also essential. You should be comfortable working independently, flexible with your schedule, and willing to travel to different sites as needed.
