As a Medical Specimen Collector at LabCorp, you will play a vital role in helping us achieve our mission of improving health outcomes.
Job Duties:
- Collecting blood specimens from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Processing billing information and collecting payments when required
- Preparing collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintaining patient and specimen information logs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm, rotating weekends
