Job Description:
We are currently seeking a specimen collector to join our team. As a specimen collector, you will be responsible for performing skilled specimen collections and delivering exceptional customer service. Additionally, you will have opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
- Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Requirements:
- Must have valid California issued Phlebotomy License or have an application for Phlebotomy License filed with California Department of Health at time of hire
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist is highly preferred
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Able to work independently or in a team environment
Work Schedule:
This role requires working Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am- 12:00 pm, with additional hours and rotating weekends as needed.
