We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team of medical professionals at Labcorp. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients, performing administrative tasks, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities will include:
- Collecting blood specimens by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collectionspecimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
- Processing billing information and collecting payments when required
- Maintaining patient and specimen information logs
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist, at least 1 year preferred
- Pediatric - Geriatric patient experience highly preferred
