Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our growing sales team. This role is responsible for managing and growing relationships with key clients, driving new business opportunities, and leading the sales process from prospecting to deal close.
Reporting directly to the Manager of Sales & Marketing, this position will play a critical role in advancing our company's growth and ensuring client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development:
- Lead the sales process from initial contact to closing, collaborating with the business development team to convert leads into long-term clients.
- Ideate tactics to secure meetings with prospects in new markets, and work closely with marketing to align campaigns with sales objectives
- Develop & execute omni-channel prospect engagement strategies leveraging phone call, email, virtual meetings, and site visits
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and new customers, understanding and anticipating their needs.
- Coordinate with the Customer Service team to ensure a smooth and professional onboarding process for new customers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing their needs and identifying opportunities to expand business.
Product and Market Expertise:
- Gain a deep understanding of Label Aid’s products, services, and the label industry to provide expert advice to clients.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to new and current customers, assisting them with label development.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Brand Representation:
- Travel to trade shows, client sites, and industry events to promote Label Aid’s brand and strengthen customer relationships.
Internal Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing, production, and customer service teams to ensure client needs are met and deliverables are executed on time.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent sales experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development
- The ideal candidate will have direct sales experience in the packaging industry
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing deals.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as within a team.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed to meet customer needs.
- Proficiency in Excel, CRMs, ERPs, and prospecting tools.
