Flexographic Press Operator

Label Solutions Inc is one of North America’s largest suppliers of regulatory compliant compressed gas cylinder labels. We also offer unique pressure-sensitive product label solutions for manufacturers relating to prime labeling, fleet signage, efficient multi-SKU printing, FDA's new nutrition label formatting, product launch campaigns, and compliance advisory services. We are currently looking to add to our team in Marshfield, MO.

Label Solutions is currently hiring for a Flexographic Press Operator. This is a first shift position. This candidate should have flexo printing experience and being mechanically inclined will also benefit this individual. The job description is as follows:

Job Description:

• Set up, adjust, maintain, and operate a Mark Andy 10" and 17" flexographic press
• Based on customer requirements, the Press Operator will install material, anilox rollers, plates, inks, and dies into proper stations. making necessary adjustments to maintain quality of production.
• Notifies Supervision of needed repairs and replacement parts.
• Ensures that assigned equipment is properly maintained and in safe operating condition.

Experience

• Strong attention to detail
• Minimum - High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills.
• Must have dependable transportation
• Must be able to meet deadline-oriented
• Best candidates would have AT LEAST 1-3 years FLEXO PRINTING experience
• Ability to write and read simple instructions.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
• Must have demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience.
• Should be able to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Good attendance is a MUST
• Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends as needed.
• Must be able to perform routine maintenance on machinery

Physical Requirements

• Employee is required to stand, bend, kneel, walk, sit, balance, handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
• Employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus.
