Shift Details:
Second Shift: Monday – Thursday, 2:30 PM – 12:30 AM ( $1.00 shift differential)
What You’ll Do:
- Produce and/or adhere plate backing as needed, mount and proof plates, clean and seal plates, record billing of time and materials on each job as required.
- Oversees the maintenance activities on all mounting equipment and fills out maintenance requests as needed.
- Prepare and inspect mounted plates prior to printing.
- Quality standards and customer requirements.
- Accountable for daily inventory of all tools and supplies for assigned equipment.
- Responsible for modeling and enforcing the safe operation of all equipment and ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
- Responsible for supporting and backing-up other positions as needed.
- Assists Manufacturing Supervisors in documenting and improving procedures and workflow processes by offering ideas and suggestions.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the team.
- Communicate regularly with management to ensure customer needs are being met.
- Accurately file plates for future use.
- Maintain proficiency in using personal computer, data entry terminal and other common office equipment and software where required.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Present a professional image at all times to customers and vendors
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of mounting operation and procedures;
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience in production environment
- Troubleshooting and maintenance of production equipment
- Able to read and follow directions
- Able to work independently with minimal direction
- Must be accurate and precise
- Able to bend and lift at least 40 pounds repeatedly during the shift with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to stand for entire shift with or without reasonable accommodation
- Basic math skills.
- Able to work with others in accomplishing tasks or goals in a team atmosphere.
- Must be adaptable for cross-training into other production areas as needed.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new and varied job tasks in a fast paced environment.
- Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others.
- High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.
