What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bridge Engineer Intern position at LaBella Associates?
LaBella Associates is currently sourcing Summer 2025 intern candidates for Bridge Engineering in Rochester, NY with knowledge of design principles and the ability to communicate them as they apply to projects.
Duties:
- Assisting senior level bridge staff with analysis, design, detailing and inspection on local and State DOT projects.
- Effective communication skills – written and verbal. Ability to understand direction and deliver assignments on time. Intermediate level of organization and time management skills.
- Currently working towards a BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET Accredited College with a concentration in structural engineering.
- Have a desire to work with an experienced Engineer in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Range: $15.00 – $20 per hour
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education and work location.
