Summary: Provides basic nursing care to patients, under direct supervision. Attends nursing station and performs clerical and reception duties. Requisition supplies, equipment, and services as directed. Observes and monitors cardiac rhythms of patients on telemetry, under the supervision of an RN.
Education Requirements: Evidence of being able to work as a member of a team, under close supervision, and follow instructions needed, completion of two weeks on the job training required, completion of cardiac dysrhythmia course required, and meets competency requirements. CNA certification is required for the skilled nursing unit.
