At LabGenius, our mission is to accelerate the discovery of next-generation therapeutic antibodies. To do this, we’ve pioneered the development of EVA - a smart robotic platform that’s capable of designing, conducting and, critically, learning from its own experiments.
For our wholly-owned pipeline, we’re using our closed-loop discovery engine to establish a pipeline of highly selective T-cell engagers and ADCs for the treatment of solid tumours.

As an (Associate) Principal Data Scientist at LabGenius, you will be a key individual contributor and manager of a team of talented data scientists.
Our Data Science and Machine Learning team pushes the boundaries of therapeutic antibody optimisation by integrating novel DS / ML tools with our leading experimental laboratory. We oversee the design and optimisation of both monovalent VHHs and multivalent T-cell engagers, including the analyses of experimental data and subsequent ML modelling. At LabGenius, these models allow us to design molecules with previously unexplored therapeutic potential.
What you’ll do in this role
- Manage and mentor other members of the data science team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration
- Support the Head of Data Science and Machine Learning in the development and execution of the data science strategy for the organisation
- Lead and manage one or multiple complex data science projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, alignment with overall project goals, and effective resource allocation. A key focus will be on the successful delivery of data science work for our therapeutic programs
- Drive cross-functional collaboration by fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation, including senior management, wet lab, software, business development, and communications teams
- Act as the subject matter expert for data science, providing strategic guidance and expertise to team members and other business units
- Drive innovation in data science methodologies, tools, and techniques
- Ensure data science best practices are followed throughout the organisation
