Labor Finders of Augusta is looking to hire a dedicated and dynamic General Manager to join a well-established restaurant/bar. If you have experience in restaurant management, distribution, and POS systems, we want you to be part of our team. Military background is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant/bar.
- Manage staff and ensure excellent customer service at all times.
- Handle inventory, ordering, and distribution.
- Operate and manage POS systems.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate vendor relationships and negotiate pricing.
- Schedule and manage staff shifts, ensuring coverage, especially on weekends.
- Maintain a positive work environment, providing training and leadership to all staff.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the restaurant/bar or hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of distribution processes and POS systems.
- Military background is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and every other weekend.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Compensation:
- Starting pay: $22/hour.
- After 30 days, the position transitions to a salaried role.
