What you will do
Pipe Welders are an essential member of our team. They weld pipe systems together. The successful candidate will be able to weld copper, nickel, aluminum and stainless steel. They should be proficient and be able to pass AWS certification for stick welding, Tig welding.
This is a full time 40 hour a week position. Hours are Monday through Friday 7 am till 3:30 pm with weekend availability for overtime. It includes the following duties:
- Secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading joints.
- Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures, such as radiators or tanks, using brackets, clamps, tools or welding equipment.
- Weld pipes together per specifications
- Any miscellaneous duties as may be required.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two (2) or more years of pipe welding experience
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to prepare cost estimates for clients.
- Ability to work outdoors in any weather.
- Negative Drug Test
