Job Responsibilities
As a Traffic Control Flagger, you will be responsible for:
- Directing Traffic Flow
- Using hand signals and signs to direct vehicles safely around construction sites.
- Monitoring Safety
- Maintaining a vigilant watch over traffic conditions to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of workers and the public.
- Communication
- Effectively communicating with construction teams and the public to provide clear instructions and updates.
- Equipment Management
- Setting up and removing traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barriers as required.
- Compliance
- Adhering to all safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Experience
- Previous experience as a flagger or in a similar traffic control role is preferred but not required.
- Skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to remain alert and focused during long periods of work.
- Certifications
- Possession of a valid unexpired ATSSA ( American Traffic Safety services Association) Flagger Certification- We Do Provide Training!
- Must be able to prove eligibility to work in the United States
- Must-Have Reliable transportation to and from job sites in and around Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, Waynesboro, and Surrounding areas

- Work Conditions
- This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and may involve standing for extended periods.
- Schedule
- Flexibility in working hours, including the possibility of night shifts and weekends as needed
- We have FT, PT, and PRN work available
