As a Roadway Maintenance Technician with Labor Finders, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our roadways. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up and maintaining traffic control devices, such as signs and cones
- Operating heavy equipment, such as trucks and tractors, to perform maintenance tasks
- Inspection and repair of drainage systems, bridges, tunnels, and other structures
- Removal of debris and litter from roadways
- Performance of roadside landscaping work, such as clearing weeds and brush, and planting and trimming trees
- Painting traffic control lines and placing pavement traffic messages
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Knowledge of traffic control procedures and regulations
