Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements.
• Take precise measurements and calculate material needs.
• Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials as needed.
• Assemble and install window frames, walls, doors, staircases, and building frameworks.
• Lay out floorings, roofing, or drywalls to ensure proper leveling and compatibility.
• Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items for installation.
• Inspect sites and conduct repairs or maintenance as necessary.
• Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
• Erect, level, and install building framework using rigging hardware and cranes.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
• Train and direct laborers and other construction helpers.
