We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen environment. As a Dishwasher, you will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, contributing to the overall efficiency of our food preparation process.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are returned to their designated places.
• Assist in food preparation as needed, including basic food handling tasks.
• Help with kitchen organization by bussing tables and clearing away used dishes.
• Support cooks and kitchen staff by providing necessary tools and equipment during meal service.
• Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.

Experience

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment or food service is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with culinary terms and practices is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• A willingness to learn and adapt within a team-oriented atmosphere.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour
