We are seeking a skilled and reliable Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal components according to specifications. Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press brake machines to produce parts per blueprints and work orders.
- Adjust machine settings, tooling, and back gauges for accurate bends and angles.
- Utilize computerized machine controls to ensure precision and efficiency.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Troubleshoot and resolve part fabrication issues as needed.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers and protractors to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain quality standards by performing regular checks on produced parts.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of press brake experience required.
- Ability to set up and run brake press machines efficiently.
- Experience with stamping presses is desirable if applicable.
- Proficiency in using computerized machine controls for fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as calipers and protractors.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for part fabrication issues.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Job Details:
- Full-time, long-term opportunity with potential for overtime.
- Shift time ranges from 8 to 10 hours, with day shift available
