CNC Setup Operator
Hours - 5:30am - 2pm
Job Overview:
Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes, mills, hobbing, and deburring machines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines (lathe, mill, hob, shape, shave, debur).
- Follow setup instructions, verify part programs, and make minor edits if needed.
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints and GD&T symbols.
- Inspect and adjust parts before QA submission.
- Use M&M/CMM chart data to correct setup or operation issues.
- Run production parts after QA approval.
- Maintain quality standards and document inspections.
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and minimize scrap.
- Preferred experience in machining forgings and alloy steels with tight tolerances.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 5 years of relevant experience or training.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 9001/2015 quality standards. (Preferred)
