Position Overview :
The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the manufacturing processes of our specialty lubricants. This role requires a strong understanding of production workflows, team management, and quality control, with a particular focus on liquid batch manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have experience in the oil and gas industry, with a deep knowledge of lubricant production and batch processing.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production facility, ensuring efficient and safe manufacturing processes.
- Manage the production team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement production plans, ensuring that all targets for quality, cost, and delivery are met.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor and optimize the use of raw materials, labor, and equipment to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve processes.
- Work closely with the quality control team to ensure the consistency and quality of all products.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including batch logs, output reports, and maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with the R&D and engineering teams to implement new technologies or improvements in production methods.
- Prepare and manage production budgets and cost controls to align with company financial goals.
