Maintenance Technician
The ideal candidate will provide support to operations through responsive, effective repairs, improvements to manufacturing equipment, design & build wire harness test boards and perform general maintenance tasks.
Bi-lingual Spanish a plus. 1st Shift: 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as assigned
- Perform general daily facility maintenance activities
- Collaborate with Engineers to design and construct wire harness test boards, fixtures and special equipment for production
- Routinely inspect electrical systems such as wiring, fixtures and equipment
- Trouble shooting of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC’s, and HVAC equipment as needed
- Responsible for helping maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Works in a safe manner and observes plant safety rules and procedures at all times
- Ensure compliance of all Health, Safety and Environmental policies and regulations
- Perform all other duties as required
Basic Requirements:
- Technical skills needed to build, program, service, integrate, maintain and operate equipment used in a manufacturing environment
- Solid Carpentry and Electrical background highly required
- Experience in equipment repairs with working knowledge of HVAC systems
- Strong mechanical skills
- Capable of reading Blueprints and schematic drawings
- Knowledge of personal computers and software
