Electrician Technician

Electrician Technician 1st shift, 10 hour shifts, profit sharing paid out quarterly and 10 hours of OT each week.

23.00 - $25.00 Range, could do higher for someone that meets all the requirements and make it a salary role

Responsible for assisting in the production process

JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY

• Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems
• Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for alarm and other systems
• Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
• Exercise critical thinking and problem-solving ability utilizing safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
• Understand electrical schematics
• Recordkeeping
• Preventative Maintenance Program
• Transformer inspections
• Infrared panel testing
• PLC and VFD drive troubleshooting, updating, programming, etc.… (knowledge of Siemens a plus)
• Operation and maintenance on overhead crane (AC and DC)
• Must communicate with supervisors and coworkers
• Supervising projects while working hands on with team
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Education / Licensure / Credentials Experience Special Knowledge / Skills Required : Technical Training / Schooling

Required : 4 year post secondary education, or equivalent experience. Required : 5 years electrical experience
